This week, Michael Thornhill delivers the message at Restoration Community Church. Michael is the Director of DEI at Venture Outdoors. He shares about the experience of Elijah, in between his two mountaintop experiences of the defeat of the prophets of Baal on Mt. Carmel and his journey to God in the chariot of fire, Elijah is in a period of deep depression. Michael shares how God cares for his physical and emotional needs by slowing him down and reminding Elijah that he is not alone.

Sometime following the birth of Isaac, Abraham is asked to do the unthinkable and offer his son as a sacrifice to the Lord.
