Sabbath keeping is essential for our spiritual lives. Pastor Chris Ansell shares how the rhythm of Sabbath breaks us out of the mistaken belief that we are supposed to provide for ourselves, and instead forces us to rely on the provision of God. He also shares some very practical examples of what Sabbath keeping might look like in everyday life.

Pastor Chris Ansell concludes our series through part of the New City Catechism by addressing the question, "Can anyone keep the law of God perfectly?" Over the last few weeks the answer has clearly been "no," but in this sermon Pastor Chris addresses the bad news which leads to the good news of Jesus Christ. He also provides hope as to why we should persevere in our obedience to the law.

Pastor Jon wraps up the Ten Commandments with a look at what it means to be honest with our life and speech and how to live a life that is content with what God has provided for us.

Pastor Chris Ansell looks at some of the most well-known commandments to not murder, commit adultery, and steal. As we look at what it means to observe and obey these commandments he highlights Jesus' escalation of our understanding of them through the Sermon on the Mount.

Pastor Chris Ansell continues to lead us through the New City Catechism as we investigate the requirements of the first three of the Ten Commandments. These commandments are concerned with the orthodox or right worship of God. How we can worship God alone, and to not do so falsely.

We continue our exploration of the New City Catechism by addressing the overview of the law as it is found in the Ten Commandments. Tune in as Pastor Jon Shaffer summarizes the commandments and provides a 30,000 foot perspective of them.

We return for a short series through the New City Catechism, a teaching tool meant to help people develop good theology around who God is, and who we are. Pastor Chris Ansell addresses question 7, "What does the law of God require?"

The law is something that is often used to demarcate those who are "in" and those on the "outside." Pastor Chris suggests that the law is meant to draw us in deeper fellowship with God as we seek to love him and love those around us.

Pastor Jon Shaffer concludes our study of Ruth by examining the work of the redeemer. Not only do we see this active advocacy in Boaz, but also in our own lives through Jesus Christ.

This week Pastor Chris Ansell walks us through the next part of our Ruth series, Ruth's marriage proposal to Boaz. He looks at it through the lens of what it means to seize our faith, by taking an active role in fulfilling our prayers to God for ourselves or for others.
